Service Description
Choose your braid-count price tier first, then choose your style and scalp-part pattern. The booking form no longer asks for a second braid count, so the number of braids cannot conflict with the price tier you selected. PRICING & RESERVED TIME • 2–4 braids — $45 — up to 3 hours • 5–7 braids — $65 — up to 4 hours • 8 braids — starting at $85 — 5+ hours • Each braid over 8 — +$5 STYLE CHOICES • Pop Smoke • Cornrows • Box Braids — Natural Hair Only SCALP PART CHOICES • Zig Zag • Square • Puzzle Pieces — Box Braids only • Block • Wavy BRAIDING HAIR • Added braiding hair — +$10 per braid • If you bring your own hair, it must be clean, unused Kanekalon Braiding Hair. If a different hair type is brought, a $20 upcharge will be added to the remaining balance. HAIR PREP • Wash & Dry — $15 • Previous Hairstyle Takedown — $20 A $20 booking deposit is required and applies toward the service total. Clients may pay the remaining balance later or pay the full amount online.
Cancellation Policy
DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS: A $20 booking deposit is required and applies toward the service total. Deposits are non-refundable except for Children Custom Braids: after photo review, if the parent/guardian declines the final quoted price, the $20 deposit will be refunded. Children Custom Braids quotes must be accepted within 12 hours of being sent. Clients may pay the full amount online or pay the remaining balance electronically as permitted by Gifted Hands. Cash is not accepted. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING: At least 24 hours' notice is required. Deposits are otherwise non-refundable. After three consecutive cancellations, the client may not book again for 14 days. NO-SHOWS & LATE ARRIVALS: No-shows forfeit the deposit and may not book again for 14 days. Contact Gifted Hands if late. A 15-minute grace period is allowed; arrivals 20+ minutes late may be rescheduled and the original deposit may be forfeited. CHILDREN & GUESTS: Do not bring children unless they are receiving a scheduled service. Additional guests require advance approval. For child services, the booking parent/guardian must remain reachable and follow the child drop-off/pick-up rules stated on the service form. PRIVATE RESIDENCE & CONDUCT: Services are provided in a designated area of a private residence. Clients may not enter private rooms or return to the property outside a scheduled appointment without permission. Restroom access is not routinely available. Smoking, vaping, marijuana, alcohol, fighting, threats, harassment, disruptive conduct, firearms, and weapons are prohibited. HAIR & SCALP SAFETY: Disclose scalp conditions, thinning, breakage, sensitivities, allergies, or recent chemical services before the appointment. Services may be postponed for signs or suspected signs of contagious/infectious scalp conditions. Tell the stylist immediately about excessive pain or discomfort. HAIR PREP: If Wash & Dry is not selected, arrive with hair washed, detangled, and fully dried as required. Takedown is a separate add-on. Disclose known product or heat sensitivities. AGREEMENT: By booking, the client or parent/guardian confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to the applicable booking, service, safety, release, and child-service policies.
