Service Description
For children ages 5–15. Custom Braids start at $60 and reserve a minimum 6-hour appointment block. Actual service time may be longer depending on the hairstyle, braid size, length, density, added hair, accessories, and complexity. PHOTO REQUIREMENT: Upload clear full FRONT, BACK, and SIDE views of the hairstyle requested. If the inspiration does not show the complete hairstyle, any unseen area may be improvised at the braider's discretion. The finished result may not be an exact copy, but Gifted Hands will make a good-faith effort to come as close as reasonably possible. QUOTE & DEPOSIT: A $20 deposit is paid before the hairstyle is reviewed. After the photos are reviewed, Gifted Hands will send the final service quote. The parent/guardian has 12 hours from the time the quote is sent to accept it. If the quoted price is declined, the $20 deposit will be refunded. If accepted, the deposit applies toward the final service total. Gifted Hands then sends a separate secure Wix invoice/payment link for the remaining approved balance. Added weave is +$10. Optional accessories and hair-prep services may increase the final total.
Cancellation Policy
DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS: A $20 booking deposit is required and applies toward the service total. Deposits are non-refundable except for Children Custom Braids: after photo review, if the parent/guardian declines the final quoted price, the $20 deposit will be refunded. Children Custom Braids quotes must be accepted within 12 hours of being sent. Clients may pay the full amount online or pay the remaining balance electronically as permitted by Gifted Hands. Cash is not accepted. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING: At least 24 hours' notice is required. Deposits are otherwise non-refundable. After three consecutive cancellations, the client may not book again for 14 days. NO-SHOWS & LATE ARRIVALS: No-shows forfeit the deposit and may not book again for 14 days. Contact Gifted Hands if late. A 15-minute grace period is allowed; arrivals 20+ minutes late may be rescheduled and the original deposit may be forfeited. CHILDREN & GUESTS: Do not bring children unless they are receiving a scheduled service. Additional guests require advance approval. For child services, the booking parent/guardian must remain reachable and follow the child drop-off/pick-up rules stated on the service form. PRIVATE RESIDENCE & CONDUCT: Services are provided in a designated area of a private residence. Clients may not enter private rooms or return to the property outside a scheduled appointment without permission. Restroom access is not routinely available. Smoking, vaping, marijuana, alcohol, fighting, threats, harassment, disruptive conduct, firearms, and weapons are prohibited. HAIR & SCALP SAFETY: Disclose scalp conditions, thinning, breakage, sensitivities, allergies, or recent chemical services before the appointment. Services may be postponed for signs or suspected signs of contagious/infectious scalp conditions. Tell the stylist immediately about excessive pain or discomfort. HAIR PREP: If Wash & Dry is not selected, arrive with hair washed, detangled, and fully dried as required. Takedown is a separate add-on. Disclose known product or heat sensitivities. AGREEMENT: By booking, the client or parent/guardian confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to the applicable booking, service, safety, release, and child-service policies.
